Our eyes are a window on the world.

From the moment we awake until sleep comes, we use them to navigate every action that makes up our day.

However, there is another dimension to consider.

We are constantly looking, but do we really see?

LOOKING AND SEEING ARE NOT THE SAME THING

Seeing is a step closer to the essence of all that is around us.

But there is yet another level…a much deeper one.

It is the spirit of what we see. At this level we begin to see that everything is connected.

It is a Worldview in which everything is alive, where everything has a soul.

The shamanic worldview underpins the ethical and effective practice of shamanism.

Experiential knowledge of this worldview leads to a profound awareness of compassion, resulting in a deep desire to relieve pain and suffering and restore balance and harmony.

EVERYTHING HAS A SPIRIT

The Shamanic Worldview workshop will prepare you to see more deeply into all that surrounds you, so you can see more clearly the meaning and purpose of your life journey.

Through the practice of journeying, and other shamanic techniques, this module will give you the opportunity to explore and experience the underlying spirits that are within everything, and as such the importance of having a Shamanic Worldview.

LENGTH OF WORKSHOP:
This workshop takes place over two consecutive days.

ZOOM VIDEO CONFERENCING:
This experiential online training is offered via Zoom video conferencing, which is free to individual users.

Instructions on how to use Zoom, and workshop access, will be provided by the instructor following registration.

Participants will see and hear each other, be able to interact in pairs, in small groups, and in circle.

PLEASE BRING:
A notebook and pen to take notes, a rattle, a drum (optional), eye covering (bandanna or other type of blindfold) to block ambient light.

Make sure you have a comfortable chair, or place to sit or lie down for the Journey portion of the workshop.

You might consider using headphones or earbuds for an easier listening experience.

AUDIO / VIDEO SETTINGS:
Please note: Students are required to participate with both audio and video enabled.

Electronic recording of audio, video, and images is not permitted during the workshop.

PRE-REQUISITES:
The Shamanic Journey: Pathway to Knowledge & Power, or the: Basic Workshop, The Way of the Shaman.

And: Shamanic Divination in Practice, or any of the Advanced Weekend Workshops.

PLEASE NOTE:
Participants must be able to successfully journey to at least one helping spirit from the Upper, or Lower Worlds.

EDUCATION CREDITS:
Completion of this workshop qualifies for 7 FSS Continuing Education Credits. To qualify for education credits, you are required to attend the entire module.

PLEASE NOTE:
It is a policy of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies that participants be 18 years of age or older.
